5 Golfers Earn Scholar All-American Honors

The University of Findlay women's golf program had five student-athletes earn All-American Scholar honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for their excellent work in the classroom during the 2018-19 campaign.

Seniors Makenzie Torres and Samantha Hatter were joined by juniors Meredith Wipper and Samantha Kellstrom along with freshman Jill Schmitmeyer on the team.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
