Oilers Cruise to 20-4 Win at Alderson Broaddus

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team won their third straight game with a 20-4 victory at Alderson Broaddus University on March 31. The win moves the Oilers record to 7-2 on the season with a 3-1 mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.

The Oilers outshot the Battlers 35-23 and put up 25 shots on goal. They also picked up 32 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers in the victory.

Olivia Sherman led the way with five goals and four assists. She also won five draws in the contest as well.

Maddi Brown scored four times while Allie Kasprzyk, Jacelyn Litman, Allison Kelly, Brie Caruso and Ciara Burud each recorded a pair of goals in the victory. Burud also posted four assists to go along with four draw controls.

Natalie Fury caused three turnovers, picked up three ground balls and won four draws while Claire Ferrell picked up nine ground balls and the victory for Findlay after making nine saves.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 4 when they host Ohio Valley University at 4pm.
