Oilers Fall 18-9 at Tiffin

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 18-9 to Tiffin University on April 3 in Tiffin, Ohio. The loss gives the Oilers a 1-5 record on the season with a 0-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers held a 7-6 lead late in the first half before the Dragons took control of the game, outscoring Findlay 12-2 the rest of the way.

The Dragons took 35 shots in the game while the Oilers attempted 23. Tiffin also held a 19-10 advantage in draw controls and caused ten turnovers.

Senior Allie Kasprzyk had two goals, three assists, and three ground balls while senior Ciara Burud had two goals and an assist.

Junior Adriana Santucci posted two goals while juniors Liz Zatalava, Mackenzie Cole, and Kendra Lindell had one apiece.

Senior Jordan Reineke picked up three ground balls while junior Rachel Bornstein took the loss and made 13 saves in goal for Findlay.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 11 when they travel to Canton, Ohio to face Walsh University.
