Proudlock Wins Regional Title

The University of Findlay wrestling team finished fourth at the 2022 NCAA Division II Super Region III Tournament, which was held on Feb. 26 in West Liberty, W. Va. The Roughnecks scored 88 points at the event.

Individually, junior Branson Proudlock earned a trip to the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championship with a first place finish in the 141-pound weight class. Proudlock went 3-0 at the tournament and scored 3-2 win over West Liberty's Tyler Wamer in the final.

Senior Keigan Yuhas took fourth at 285 with a 3-2 record while senior Zachary Collins (125), sophomore Gavin Ritter (133), and junior Hunter Reed (174) all went 2-2 and ended up with fourth place finishes.

Senior James Wimer took fifth in the 157-pound weight class with a 3-2 record as well.
