Allendale, MI- The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost 11-0 to the #2 Grand Valley State University Lakers on Sunday, October 16. This loss gives the Oilers an overall record of 3-10-1 and a GLIAC conference record of 1-6-1.
In the first half, the Lakers scored eight goals to take the lead.
The first goal occurred in the first four minutes of the game, the second goal occurred in the 14th minute, the third goal occurred in the 19th minute, the fourth goal in the 20th minute, the fifth in the 25th minute, the sixth in the 27th minute, the seventh in the 28th minute, and the last goal of the half was scored in the 40th minute.
The Oilers held the Lakers to three goals in the second half.
The first goal was scored sixteen minutes into the half, the second goal was scored in the 74th minute, and the eleventh and final goal of the game was scored in the 76th minute.
Throughout the game, the Oilers attained seven shots to the Laker's 43 shots.
