Box Score

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's soccer team went up against visiting Ursuline College on Sunday, October 27 on Senior Day. Four seniors were honored before the start of the game including Sierra Perry, Anna Money, Ashley Rings, and Chloe Marburger. The Oilers improve to an 11-0-1 (9-0-1) after another shutout victory on the season after a 2-0 win. This marks the eighth shutout victory for the undefeated Oilers.

After what seemed to be a slower start for the Oilers against the Arrows, the first half ended in a 0-0 tie. The Oilers turned on the burners to get things rolling at the start of the second half. At the 61st minute, freshman Sage Schell booted one from just outside the box to the upper left corner to put the score at 1-0 in the Oilers' advantage.

Another pair of freshman would extend the lead for the Oilers in 79th minute. Freshman Sam Francis connected with Jayla Campbell. Campbell found the back of the net off the assist from Francis to extend the lead to 2-0.

The Oilers won the shots taken category during the afternoon game by an 11-5 margin. The trio of Campbell, sophomore Olivia Frank, and senior Sierra Peacock took three shots each. Goalkeeper Anna Money had four saves throughout the game.
