Oilers Fall to Eagles 2-0 | Sit at 1-1 in the G-MAC

Ashland, OH- The University of Findlay Women's Soccer team traveled to Ashland, OH to take on the Ashland University Eagles for their second Great-Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) contest of the year on Saturday Sept 10. The Oilers looked to advance a 2-1-1 record on the year and a 1-0 record in G-MAC play.

Ashland started the scoring off in the 15th minute with a goal to give them a 1-0 lead. 

The Eagles would add to their lead on a penalty kick in the 34th minute to put them up 2-0.

The score would stay there for the rest of the contest as no team would find the back of the net in the second half of the game. 

Junior Kennedy Slovak started in goal for Findlay. Slovak would record two saves on the game. 

With the loss the Oilers drop to 2-2-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. Findlay will be back in action on Thursday Sept 15 when they travel to Painesville, OH to take on the Lake Erie College Storm.
