Tischler Named First Team All-Region by D2CCA
Findlay, Ohio – The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released their 2022 Women's Soccer Midwest All-Region selections for this past season and University of Findlay midfielder Ellie Tischler was selected to the first team, making her the sixth player in program history to be named first team all-region by that organization.
This season, Tischler was the main goal-scoring threat for the Oilers, leading Findlay to a 10-6-3 record and a trip to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament. The Lebanon, Ohio native scored a team-high eight goals including two goals against Tiffin on Sep. 24. She had another two-goal game against Trevecca Nazarene on Oct. 19, part of a stretch in which she scored four times in three games.
Prior to this season, the junior had scored five goals in her career, two of which came as a freshman and three as a sophomore. She now has 13 goals and two assists in her time at UF for a total of 28 points. She has taken 74 shots including a career-high 40 shots this season.
