Bio

Dani Johnson is entering her second year on staff for the Oilers in 2019 and will serve as their assistant coach.

Johnson came to the Oilers after a standout career at Grand Valley State University where she won a NCAA Division II National Championship in both 2014 and 2015 and was the national runner-up in 2016. During her senior season at GVSU, Johnson was named second team all-American. Academically, Johnson earned her bachelor's degree in communication with a minor in hospitality management. While at Findlay she will pursue her master's degree in professional communication.

Prior to her career at Grand Valley State, Johnson, a native of Toledo, Ohio, played for Coach Jimmy Walker at Pacesetter Soccer Club and helped guide that squad to three state championships.

Dani is the daughter of Phil and Terri Johnson and has an older brother, Nick, who graduated from Ohio University.
