Bio

Trip Rogers will be entering his second season as the head coach of the Oilers women's soccer program in 2021-22.

In his first season, Rogers led the Oilers to a 10-1-1 record as they finished the year ranked 24th in the nation. His team also won G-MAC regular season and tournament titles.

Rogers came to Findlay after serving as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Morehead State University from 2015-20. Before his stint at Morehead State, Rogers was the head coach at Midway University from 2010-14 and an assistant coach at Georgetown University from 2008-09.

A native of Lexington, Ky., Rogers graduated from Bryan Station High School in 1991 and earned a bachelor's degree from Kentucky in 2003.  He returned to his alma mater, Bryan Station, as an assistant girls soccer coach from 2003-05 and was promoted to head coach for the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

Rogers has worked with the Bluegrass Soccer Club since 2007 and served as its director of coaching for girls ages 14 and under.  He was also a coach for the Kentucky Olympic Development program from 2007-12.  Rogers has in-depth experience with training and technical development.

Rogers and his wife, Jill, have one son, Chance.  Their son is a baseball player at Hanover College, an NCAA Division III program in Southeastern Indiana.
