Kin | Olson Earn All-Region Honors
Junior Shelby Kin was named all-Midwest Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Nov. 21. In addition, senior Hailee Olson was voted to the honorable mention team.
Kin, a two-time first team all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) selection, recorded 308 kills and hit .343 on the season, the seventh-best mark in program history. She also led the team with 73 blocks and recorded 33 aces in 2018.
Olson, was also a first team all-conference performer for the Oilers in 2018 and has earned all-region accolades in each of her four seasons with the Oilers. A three-time NCAA Division II All-American, Olson posted 1,223 assists, 189 digs and 42 aces for Findlay during her final season. She ends her career ranked second all-time with 5,374 assists.
