Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's volleyball team went 1-1 on Saturday, October 26. Their first match was against Ohio Domincan Universiy, and the Oilers won in four sets, (25-23, 25-21, 14-25, 25-18). The Oilers lost to Gannon in three sets, (20-25, 19-25, 24-26). The Oilers now have a record of 6-16 on the year.

In the match against ODU, Senior Shelby Kin led the Oilers with 17 kills on a .349 hitting percentage. Kin also added 11 digs for the Oilers.

Junior hitters Rylie Pattison and Madison Moore both had 16 kills in the match. Pattison had a hitting percentage of .314, while Moore had a team-high hitting percentage of .419.

Olivia Morrison was all over the place defensively, leading the Black and Orange with 17 digs.

Setter Emily Annesser had 34 assists to lead the Black and Orange.

In match two against Gannon, Junior Alana Sundermann had a team high 20 digs for the Oilers.

Olivia Morrison added 11 digs of her own.

Cassidy Martin had a team high five block assists.

Emily Annesser had a team high 17 assists in the match.

Madison Moore led the Oilers with eight kills.

The Oilers next match will take place on Friday, November 1 as they will travel to take on Kentucky Wesyleyan at 7:00 PM.
