Oilers Complete G-MAC Championshp in Pepper Pike

The University of Findlay men and women's cross country teams wrapped up the 2019 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship on Oct. 26 in Pepper Pike, Ohio. The women took fifth place with 165 points while the men finished ninth with 270 points.

Gabrielle Lawrence paced the women's squad and finished 24th with a time of 22:08.0 while Meghan Donoher finished 47th at 23:09.5.

Matilda Jeruto (23:30.5) and Hayley Robinett (23:31.9) finished 54th and 55th, respectively, while Morgan Gaskins (23:42.7) was 61st with a time of 23:42.7.

London Moening (25:05.1) and Madisen Borer (25:40.8) also competed for Findlay and finished 88th and 99th, respectively.

Ryan Kohout led the men's squad and took 47th overall with a time of 26:29.3. Ethan Adams finished 78th at 27:17.9 while Tristin Freistuhler took 86th with a time of 27:37.0.

Wade Hopkins (27:52.8) finished 96th, Noah Louria (28:04.1) placed 100th, and Dylan Hunter (29:44.6) took 116th.

The Oilers will now prepare for the NCAA DII Midwest Regional on Nov. 9 in Evansville, Ind.
