Oilers Head to Ohio Dominican & Cedarville

The Oilers will be back on the road for two games on Saturday and Monday. They will play at Ohio Dominican on Jan. 29 in a 3:00 p.m. contest before heading to Cedarville on Jan. 31 for a 7:45 p.m. game.

Series Information (Ohio Dominican)

The Oilers own a 38-9 advantage in the all-time series against Ohio Dominican dating back to the 1969-70 campaign when they were victorious by a score of 87-69.

Earlier this season the Panthers defeated the Oilers 76-66 in Niekamp Arena. The Oilers only shot 40.4 percent (23-of-57) from the floor and connected on a mere 31.8 percent (7-of-22) of their three point attempts. They also struggled from the free throw line, making only 13-of-21 (61.9%) tries. The Panthers meanwhile shot it at a 46.4 percent (26-of-56) clip while connecting on 12-of-25 (48%) three point tries.

Brady Wildermuth led the team with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting while Joey Edmonds had 13 points.

Series Information (Cedarville)

The Oilers hold a 78-26 advantage in the all-time series against Cedarville as the two programs have been meeting on the hardwood since 1910. In their first meeting, the Yellow Jackets came away with a 32-30 win over Findlay.

Earlier this season the Yellow Jackets defeated the Oilers 68-66 in Niekamp Arena. The Oilers shot 44.6 percent (25-of-56) from the floor and converted 9-of-19 (47.4%) three point attempts. The Yellow Jackets meanwhile made 46.2 percent (24-of-52) of their shot attempts and sank 13-of-15 (86.7%) from the charity stripe in the game.

Nathan Bruns led the Oilers with 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists while Joey Edmonds finished with 14 points and five assists.

Findlay

The Oilers are 12-5 on the season with a 6-3 record in league play. Nathan Bruns leads the team with averages of 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Anthony Masterlasco is also having a great season with averages of 12.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest while senior guard Tre'Maine Gray (11.8) and junior guard Joey Edmonds (11.7) are also averaging in double figures.
