Oilers in Seventh in Spring Opener
Sevierville, Ten.- The University of Findlay men's golf team opened their 2022 spring campaign today, Mar. 14, at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club hosted by Tennessee Tech University. The Oilers finished day one with a 18-hole score of 294 (+6) and are currently in seventh place.
Leading the Oilers was sophomore Donnie Professori. Professori posted an even-par 72. He is tied for 18th.
Senior Tanner Grzegorczyk finished with a one over-par 73. He is tied for 24th. Sophomore Justin Atkinson shot a two over-par 74 and is tied for 39th. Seniors Brock Kehres and Hunter Foltz both shot 75, three over-par. They are tied for 44th.
Individually, senior Parker Haynes shot an even-par 72 and is tied for 18th.
The Oilers will be back for the final round tomorrow.
