Oilers in 11th at Super Regional
The University of Findlay men's golf team is in a tie for 11th place after the first day of the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Region Tournament at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind. The Oilers fired a 297 in the opening round and are halfway through the second round before play stopped due to darkness.
Senior Parker Haynes has led the team and is tied for 22nd after shooting a 74 in the opening round. He is currently 2-over par through 12 holes in the second round, which will be completed tomorrow.
Senior Tanner Grzegorczyk is tied for 30th after carding an even-par 72 in the first round. He is currently 4-over par in the second round through 12 holes.
Sophomore Donnie Professori is tied for 61st after posting a 76 in round one and is 4-over par in round two.
Senior Brock Kehres shot a 77 in the opening round and is 3-over par in round two while being tied for 61st while sophomore Justin Atkinson is tied for 77th after recording a 76 in the first round and a 6-over par score in the second through nine holes.
