Four Oilers Tabbed All-Conference

Findlay, Ohio- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference released their annual postseason awards today, May 25. Four Oilers were named all-conference during the 2021-22 campaign. 

Senior Tanner Grzegorczyk was tabbed with the honors. Grzegorczyk finished the season with a 71.73 scoring average. He led the team in scoring average and ranked 28th among all NCAA Division II golfers. He was named the G-MAC Athlete of the Week on Apr. 4 after finishing in sixth place at the Findlay Spring Invite carding six-under par for the tournament finishing alongside the top talent in the region. Grzegorzyk finished in the top-ten nine times this year out of the twelve tournaments the Oilers competed in.

Sophomore Justin Atkinson also grabbed the honor. Atkinson finished the year with a 73.06 scoring average. He was named G-MAC Athlete of the Week on Oct. 7 after capturing his first collegiate victory. Atkinson was eight-under par to capture the individual title at the Kyle Ryman Memorial. 

In addition, senior Parker Haynes and sophomore Donnie Professori each earned all-conference honors for the Oilers as well.

Haynes had a scoring average of 73.72. His best finish came at the Great Midwest Championship where he finished tied for seventh.

Professori meanwhile has been named all-conference for the first time in his career. He finished the season with a 73.18 scoring average.
