Oilers Open Season at Northwood | Saginaw Valley
The Oilers will open up their regular season over the weekend at Northwood University and Saginaw Valley State University. The Oilers will play the Timberwolves on Nov. 12 at 5pm in Midland, Mich. before facing the Cardinals on Nov. 13 at 1pm in University Center, Mich.

The University of Findlay athletic department recently unveiled their new online store, shopoilers.com. The online store features more than 1,000 products for Findlay fans ranging from traditional apparel such as hats, t-shirts, and sweats to less common gift items such as jewelry, drinkware, technology skins and items for golfing, tailgating and in-home decor.

Series Information (Northwood)
The Oilers currently hold a 17-6 advantage in the all-time series against Northwood dating back to the 1997-98 campaign when Findlay came away with a 73-51 victory.
The two programs last met during the 2019-20 campaign when Findlay came away with a 71-61 win in Niekamp Arena behind 15 points and 14 rebounds from Paige Bellman.
Series Information (Saginaw Valley St.)
The Oilers currently hold a 15-12 advantage in the all-time series against Saginaw Valley State dating back to the 1978-79 season when the Cardinals cruised to an 88-48 win.
The Oilers claimed a 62-59 win over the Cardinals in their last meeting during the 2019-20 season. Bridget Landin paced Findlay with 16 points and ten rebounds while Sydney Kin had 13 points and 11 boards.
Findlay
The Oilers went 12-11 last season with an 11-10 record in conference play. Senior Sydney Kin returns to lead the team after earning first team all-conference honors a season ago. Kin averaged 21.4 points and 9.3 rebounds per game while shooting 60.1 percent from the floor.
Senior Bridget Landin is also back after being named second team all-conference while senior Amber Schweiger returns after securing a spot on the all-defensive team in 2020-21. Landin averaged 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while Schweiger posted averages of 10.7 points, 5.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per contest.
Senior Paige Bellman also returns after averaging 9.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last season.
Northwood
The Timberwolves went 11-9 last season and return Makenzie Todd who led the team in scoring a 11.3 points per game.
Saginaw Valley St.
The Cardinals went 10-10 last season and will be led by Kaitlyn Zarycki who returns after averaging 14.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Maddie Maloney is also back after posting averages of 11.6 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per contest.
