Women's Golf in 11th at Peggy Kirk Bell

The University of Findlay women's golf team is currently in 11th place at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, which wrapped up first round action on March 2 at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, Fla.

The Oilers shot a 330 in the first round and then came back with a 327 in the second for a total score of 657 on Monday. They were led by senior Michele Schambs, who is tied for 22nd with a 154 (79, 75).

Junior Kasey Petty (79, 77 – 156), sophomore Shelby Warner (83, 85 - 168), freshman Kelsey Koesters (89, 90 - 179), sophomore Taylor Tweed (89, 82 - 171) and junior Hannah Schneider (92, 93 – 185)) are also competing for Findlay at the event.
