Oilers Ranked 4th in Golfstat Rankings

The University of Findlay women's golf team ended the season ranked fourth in the NCAA Division II Golfstat rankings.

The Oilers averaged a team score of 302.81 and were led individually by junior Jill Schmitmeyer, who ranked 33rd with an average score of 75.54. Senior Meredith Wipper wasn't too far off as she ranked 44th at 75.89.

Senior Kristina Kniesly ranked 74th with an average score of 77.14 while freshman Gabby Woods ranked 93rd at 77.54.

Woods led the team in birdies with 77, which ranked seventh in NCAA Division II while Wipper ranked 16th with 67. Schmitmeyer was right behind Wipper with 65, the 19th best total in the nation.
