The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 20-4 at 6th-ranked Florida Southern College on March 4 in Lakeland, Fla. The loss gives the Oilers a 0-2 record on the season.
Senior Ashleigh Lesser had two goals to lead Findlay while junior Izzy Murphy-Morrow and sophomore Paige Falk had one apiece. Murphy-Morrow also added five draw controls and two ground balls in the loss.
Senior Rachel Bornstein took the loss after allowing 17 goals while junior Olivia Bakowski surrendered three. Bornstein made four saves while Bakowski had one.
The Oilers will be back in action again on March 11 when they travel to Allendale, Mich. to take on 14th-ranked Grand Valley State University at 2pm.
