Oilers Beat Lewis 17-7

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team earned their first win of the season with a 17-7 victory over Lewis University on March 20 in Romeoville, Ill. The win gives the Oilers a 1-4 record on the season.

Senior Mackenzie Cole paced the Oilers with four goals while senior Danielle Dilorenzo had three goals and two assists.

Seniors Kendra Lindell, Liz Zatalava, and Adriana Santucci each had two goals while freshman Olivia Alvarado scored twice as well.

Sophomore Paige Falk and junior Izzy Murphy-Morrow each added a goal apiece while senior Allie Kasprzyk had four.

Junior Olivia Bakowski picked up the win in goal by making nine saves.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 23 when they travel to Pepper Pike, Ohio to take on Ursuline College in their first Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) contest of the season.
