Findlay Hangs on to Defeat Ashland 12-10

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team defeated Ashland University by a score of 12-10 on April 8 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The win gives the Oilers a 5-5 record on the season with a 4-0 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). 

Senior Danielle Dilorenzo led the Oilers with three goals and an assist while senior Allie Kasprzyk had two goals and two assists.  

Senior Kendra Lindell finished the game with two goals, one assist, and 12 draw controls while senior Mackenzie Cole and freshman Olivia Alvarado had two goals apiece. 

Junior Izzy Murphy-Morrow registered one goal and a pair of assists while senior Chloe Nottingham picked up five ground balls and caused two turnovers. 

Senior Rachel Borstein picked up the win by making 14 saves. 

The Oilers will be back in action again on Sunday when they host Walsh University at 12pm.
