Oilers Beat Storm on Senior Day

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team defeated Lake Erie College by a score of 21-3 on May 1 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The win gives the Oilers a 10-6 record on the season with a 9-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Senior Danielle Dilorenzo led the offense with five goals while sophomore Paige Falk scored four. Senior Allie Kasprzyk added three goals and three assists while freshman Olivia Alvarado had three goals and a pair of assists.

Senior Adriana Santucci finished with two goals and five assists while senior Liz Zatalava had two goals as well.

Senior Kendra Lindell scored a goal and assisted on another while breaking the school record for draw controls in a game with 15.

Senior Rachel Bornstein picked up the win in goal while junior Olivia Bakowski made two saves and recorded three ground balls.

The Oilers will now travel to Canton, Ohio on May 5 for the first round of the 2022 G-MAC Tournament. They will play Ashland University at 3pm.
