Slovak Earns Defensive Player of the Week

Findlay, OH - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released their women's soccer athletes of the week on Tuesday, Sep. 28. University of Findlay sophomore Kennedy Slovak earned Defensive Player of the Week after a pair of shutouts in conference games this past week.

Slovak helped the Oilers to a 2-0 record this week as she earned a shutout against both Tiffin and Ursuline. In those two games, the Oregon, Ohio native tallied eight saves while playing the full 90 minutes in both contests.

This is the first Player of the Week award for Slovak this season and is the second of her career.
