Oilers Under Consideration for NCAA Regional Rankings
Findlay, Ohio - On Wednesday, Oct. 19, the NCAA revealed its' first look into teams that are vying for position in the 2022 NCAA DII Midwest Women's Soccer Regional. These teams are listed as under consideration in the initial reveal and will be ranked in subsequent weeks leading up to the final ranking which will be released on Nov. 2.
The University of Findlay women's soccer team is currently 8-4-2 on the season and, after missing the regional last season, finds themselves back under consideration in 2022. The Oilers' last trip to the regional came in 2019 when they played host to the first two rounds at DeHaven Field. In 2020, Findlay won the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship but, due to COVID-19, there was no NCAA postseason play.
The G-MAC has four teams under consideration.
