The University of Findlay women's volleyball fell to Walsh University in a four-set match (25-21, 25-18, 20-25, 32-30) on Friday Oct. 29 . This brings the Oilers to a 13-7 record on the year and 9-3 in conference play.
The Oilers were led by freshman Journey Blevins. She had 27 kills and hit .358. She also contributed one ace and 8 digs. Her 27 kills in the match are tied for eighth-best at UF and also tie for the most kills in a four-set match in conference history.
Assisting Blevins was senior Madison Moore. Moore contributed 12 kills and one block. Junior Natalie Maras had 8 kills on the night.
On the defensive side, senior Ashton Terrill had 20 digs and was assisted by sophomore Alissa Rhodes with 9 digs. Junior Emma Meyer recorded three blocks.
Senior Abigail Schroeder had 43 assists in the match and added 6 digs.
The Oilers hit .187 for the match while the Cavs hit .286.
The Oilers are back in action Saturday, Oct. 30 at Walsh.
