Blevins Named 1st Team All-Region
Freshman Journey Blevins was named first team all-Midwest Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on Dec. 1.
Blevins, who was the 2021 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Freshman of the Year, averaged 4.68 kills per set on the year, the third-best mark in the nation. A first team all-conference selection, Blevins also ranked fifth in the country in points per set at 5.0.
Blevins is the first Oilers volleyball player since 2017 to be named first team all-region by the D2CCA.
