Make-A-Wish Game Slated for Saturday

Make-A-Wish Game Slated for Saturday

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at both The University of Findlay and Tiffin University have once again organized an annual benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which is slated to take place on Jan. 17 during the basketball games in Croy Gymnasium. The UF men and women’s basketball teams will be hosting the Dragons at 1 and 3 p.m., respectively, on the 17th and all proceeds raised will go to Make-A-Wish.

The Oilers and Dragons sponsored Destiny, a 14-year old girl from Findlay, who wanted to visit the Taco Bell Test Kitchen. Unfortunately, Destiny’s wish could not come true as she passed away in October. In memory of Destiny, the SAAC programs at both institutions are asking that you still donate to the foundation to help make another child’s wish come true.  T-shirts are being sold for $5 and will be available at the game.
