98 Student-Athletes Earn Academic Accolades
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced their all-academic and all-academic excellence teams for the spring season on June 10. The University of Findlay had a total of 98 student-athletes honored by the league for their performance in the classroom. 52 student-athletes at UF were named all-academic excellence while 46 more earned all-academic honors.
Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first year transfer student. The all-academic teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. The academic excellence teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the fall semester of 2015.
