18th Annual Chili Cook-Off Slated for Feb. 6
The University of Findlay and Cancer Patient Services are once again teaming up to help raise money for local cancer patients with the 18th annual Chili Cook-Off. The event, which continues to grow each year, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex.
The 2016 Chili Cook-Off will be held after the Oilers men and women’s basketball games against Tiffin on Feb. 6. The women will begin the doubleheader at 1 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium with the men’s game slated to start at 3 p.m. Fans who purchase a ticket to the games will be admitted FREE into the 2016 Chili Cook-Off, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
Along with tasting all kinds of chili, you can win several specialty auction items, participate in a live auction and let your children enjoy the Kids Zone. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to win a trip to either Disney or a tropical destination.
