Oilers Split With Dragons

The University of Findlay baseball team split a twin bill against Tiffin University on Friday, April 29 at Fifth Third Field to give them a 12-26-1 record on the season with a 9-18 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers lost the first game 4-0 as the Dragons limited Findlay to only three hits.

Victor Migliore took the loss after allowing four runs on ten hits in seven innings of work.

Dustin Zielaskiewicz, Jason Reitenbach and Migliore each had a single for the Oilers offense.

Findlay came out on the winning end of a 6-4 game in the second contest as Jason Reitenbach finished 4-for-4 with three runs-batted-in and one run scored.

Migliore added a pair of hits and scored two runs while Drew Hargrove captured the win on the mound, allowing four runs on eight hits in seven innings of work.

The Oilers will host Ashland University tomorrow in a twin bill beginning at 1 pm.
