Oilers Take 2 From Panthers

The University of Findlay baseball team swept Ohio Dominican University at Fifth Third Field on Wednesday, April 20 to give them an 11-21-1 record on the season with an 8-13 record in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers won the first game 5-4 as Derek Draper picked up the save after Victor Migliore scored the go ahead run in the sixth.

Robert Marsh drove in two runs while Jason Reitenbach had two hits.

The Oilers won the second game 12-0 as they pounded out 14 hits to go along with a three hit shutout by Drew Hargrove.

Hargrove struck out seven and walked four in the game to even his record at 2-2.

Dustin Zielaskiewicz went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and one more driven in while Dylan Cintula and Tommy Roush each knocked in three runs during the win.

Marsh drove in two runs in the second game as well while Reitenbach again had a pair of hits.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 22-23 when they face Grand Valley State University in a pair of twin bills in Allendale, Michigan.
