Oilers Top Northwood 9-5 For Berry's 200th Win

The University of Findlay baseball team was victorious against Northwood University by the score of 9-5 to win the three-game series on Sunday, March 24 in Tiffin, Ohio.

Trailing by a run going into the eighth, Garrett Busch broke the tie with a two-run single to score Tommy Roush and Victor Migliore, making the score 6-5. The Oilers tacked on three more runs in the ninth for the 9-5 win.

Roush led the Oilers at the plate going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and scored a run. Joe Sickler also chipped in with two hits while Migliore and Dylan Cintula each doubled and scored a run in the game.

Jon Walker pitched eight strong innings for Findlay, giving up four earned runs on nine hits while striking out one.

Troy Berry, who broke the school's all-time wins record in yesterday's victory, picked up his 200th win as head coach of the Oilers today.

The team will be back in action on Tuesday for their home-opener at Fifth Third Field against Notre Dame.
