The University of Findlay baseball team split with Walsh University on Saturday, April, 6 in Findlay, Ohio.

The Oilers lost game one by the score of 5-4.

After scoring four runs in the first inning, the Findlay bats were kept quiet as Walsh slowly chipped away at the lead, finally scoring the game-deciding run in the final inning.

Reid Rothenbuhler led the Oilers at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and scored a run.

Blake Schmenk and Tommy Roush had the only other hits for Findlay.

Alex Williams was credited with the loss in the game.

In game two, the Oilers scored in each inning except the sixth as they went on to win 8-6.

Freshman Justin Miller led Findlay at the plate, going 2-for-4 including his first collegiate home run.

Schmenk also had a big second game offensively, going 2-for-2 with three runs scored and stole a base, while Roush had a hit and three RBI's.

Drew Hargrove went the distance on the mound, giving up one earned run on ten hits while striking out nine.

Findlay's overall record is now 11-14 on the season with a 5-9 mark in GLIAC play. They will conclude their series with Walsh tomorrow beginning at noon.
