2016 Baseball Schedule Released
The University of Findlay baseball team will open the 2016 season with a trip to Auburndale, Fla. beginning on Sunday, Feb. 28 and lasting through Friday, Mar. 4.
Once they return from that trip, the Oilers will remain on the road for almost four weeks. This road stint includes trips to play six different schools including a March 22 trip to play Bowling Green State University of the Division-I, Mid-American Conference, and also the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opener on March 25 against Northwood University.
Findlay then returns home to the Marathon Diamonds for a five-day stretch, Apr. 6-Apr. 10, in which they will play four conference games, all against Saginaw Valley State.
After a trip to Hillsdale College for a double-header on Apr. 13, the Oilers return home from Apr. 16-Apr. 24, a stretch in which they will play ten games, all against GLIAC opponents.
A short, two-day trip to Wayne State University on Apr. 30 and May 1, and a home, four-game series vs. Ashland University on May 7-8, will wrap up the regular season schedule.
