Bush Earns Regional High Point Honors

The University of Findlay western equestrian team won three Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) shows over the weekend.  They won two shows at Oberlin on Saturday and then won another on Sunday in Findlay.

Jarrod Bush was named the high point rider in the morning show on Saturday, took home reserve champion honors in the second show and then was tabbed the high point rider in the single show on Sunday.

He was also named the high point rider in the region and will compete for the same honor at the national level in May.

Kim Deane took home high point rider honors during the afternoon show on Saturday and was named the reserve champion in the first show in Oberlin.

Bekah Irish was tabbed the reserve champion in the show on Sunday.

Individually, the Oilers had 33 student-athletes qualify for regionals.

Advanced - Kelsey Arnold, Madison Hallas, Kelsey Hughes, Kaitlin LeBlanc, Cassie Norris, Morgan Parcher
