Oilers Secure 17th Straight Regional Championship

The University of Findlay English equestrian team captured reserve champion honors on Feb. 12 in Painesville, Ohio after accumulating 30 team points. Junior, Katie Holt also walked away with Reserve Highpoint Rider honors, with her 1st and 2nd place in her Intermediate Equitation classes. A special congratulations to four Oiler riders who qualified themselves for Regionals; Marco Polo Uchoa (Open Equitation on the Flat), Parker Nash (Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter Equitation), Emma Wood (Novice Equitation over Fences), and Katie Holt (Intermediate Equitation over Fences).

As a team, the Oilers also bested 14 other teams, and locked up their 17th consecutive Regional Championship, as Zone 6 Region 1 Highpoint Team with a total of 356 points.
