Oilers Start Spring Practices on Saturday
The University of Findlay football team will start their spring practices on Saturday, March 24. Their first practice will be held at the Armstrong Sports Complex and begin at 10:30 a.m. Fans are encouraged to attend the practices as they are all open to the public.
The Oilers finished last season with a 6-5 record and ended the season with a 43-42, overtime win at Wayne State. Wayne State eventually made their way through the NCAA Division II Playoffs to the national championship game before finishing as the runner-up.
The practices will then conclude on April 21 with their annual spring game. The contest is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at Donnell Stadium.
