Oilers to Host Youth Football Camp
The University of Findlay football team will once again be hosting their youth camp, which will be available to all athletes entering 1st-8th grade in the fall of 2012. The camp is scheduled to take place on June 4-6, 2012 at the Armstrong Sports Complex in Findlay, Ohio.
The purpose of this camp is to give each individual an opportunity to develop the proper fundamentals of
both offensive and defensive football. Our goal is to not only aid in the development of these young athletes, but to provide each of them with a fun filled day of football related activities.
Aside from football fundamentals, players will learn the importance of self-discipline, teamwork, and the day to day strategies that it takes to reach their maximum potential on and off the field. Campers will not only be involved with college coaches, but will also have the opportunity to interact with current Oiler players.
Last year, the camp featured 75 kids and this year the team is expecting over 100 to take part in the event.
