Butler Named BSN Defensive Player of the Week

Senior linebacker Brandon Butler was named the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Oilers 43-42 double overtime victory at home against Notre Dame (Ohio) College on Sept. 29.

Butler racked up a career-high 21 tackles in the game and now has 50 tackles on the season.  His 12.5 tackles per game is the best mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and ranks fourth nationally.
