4 Oilers to Play in Ohio/Michigan Football Senior Bowl

GameDay Management, Inc. has released the Team Ohio roster for the 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan College Football Senior Bowl, to be played on Saturday, April 20 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio.  The Oilers will have four former players on the squad.

Running back Monterae Williams, center Scott Dearwester, defensive lineman Richard Sumlin and linebacker Brandon Butler will all take part in the game.

Williams, a two-time first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) pick and second team all-region selection, finished his senior season with 1,348 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns.  During his final year with the Oilers, Williams broke school records for career carries (980) and career rushing yards (4,660).  He also ranks second all-time with 50 career touchdowns.

Williams had seven 100-yard games during his senior season and scored a touchdown in all but one game during the 2012 campaign.  He averaged 5.0 yards per carry and also made 15 receptions for 94 yards.

The Canton, Ohio native also the nation in scoring, accounting for 12.6 points per game.

Dearwester, a four-year starter at center for the Oilers, helped pave the way for Findlay to accumulate 32.5 points per game and 437.1 yards of total offense per outing.  He was also named second team all-conference as well for the second consecutive year.

Sumlin was disruptive on the defensive line from his tackle position where he earned second team all-GLIAC honors with 43 tackles and a team-high 11.5 tackles for a loss.

Butler was a second team all-conference selection after wrapping up his career with 112 tackles in 2012.  His 11.2 tackles per game was the highest mark in the GLIAC and ranked seventh nationally.

Team Ohio will be coached by Ohio Dominican's Bill Conley and Matt Mitchell, of Grand Valley State, will coach Team Michigan. 

The 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan Senior marks the fourth year of the Senior Bowl, but the first with the Ohio vs. Michigan format. The Senior Bowl features the top collegiate football players from Ohio and Michigan from all divisions including - NCAA FBS, FCS, DII, DIII and NAIA.
