Morris Named Special Teams Player of the Week

Junior wide receiver/defensive back Nathan Morris was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 10 for his performance in the Oilers 51-33 win over Urbana.

Morris averaged 58.0 yards per kick return in the game, which included a 91-yard return for a touchdown.  The kickoff return for a touchdown was the first for an Oilers player since Milan Smith returned a kick 92-yards for a score against Geneva College on Oct. 19, 1991.

The Warrensville Hts., Ohio native also made an impact on defense in the game, registering one sack and one fumble recovery during the win.
