2016 UF Football Schedule Released
The University of Findlay football team will begin their 2016 campaign at home against Saginaw Valley State University on Sep. 3. The contest is scheduled to begin at 7pm inside Donnell Stadium.
After hosting the Cardinals in their first game, the Oilers will welcome Ohio Dominican University to town the following week for another night game. The Oilers will face the Panthers at 7pm on Sep. 10 in Donnell Stadium before they travel to Ashland, Ohio to take on Ashland University on Sep. 17.
The Oilers will face Lake Erie College on Sep. 24 in Painesville, Ohio before returning home to host Ferris State University at 7pm on Oct. 1. They will then host Wayne State University on Oct. 8 at noon before Hillsdale College comes to Findlay for Homecoming on Oct. 15 (2pm).
On Oct. 22, the Oilers will head to Tiffin, Ohio to battle Tiffin University before closing the month of October at Grand Valley State University on Oct. 29.
The month of November begins with the Oilers final home game of the season. They will host Northwood University at noon in Donnell Stadium on Nov. 5 for senior day. They will then close the regular season on Nov. 12 at Michigan Technological University.
The Oilers finished last season with a 6-5 record, which included a 5-5 mark in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.
