Isaac Miles Earns Great Midwest Player of the Week

Findlay, Ohio - After a convincing win against Hillsdale in which the Oilers defense held an explosive Chargers offense to just 13 points, Findlay sophomore Isaac Miles has earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) Defensive Player of the Week. It is the fourth conference Player of the Week award the Oilers have earned this season and the second on the defensive side of the ball.

In the 31-13 win over Hillsdale, a game streamed on ESPN3, Miles set a new career-high with eight tackles and had one and a half tackles for loss and one sack. His sack, which came in the second quarter and Findlay ahead 3-0, gave the Oilers the ball as Miles forced a fumble and then recovered the fumble, which led to a touchdown on the next possession.

This is the first Player of the Week award of Miles' career.
