Findlay at Tiffin Selected as NCAA Division II Showcase Game

Findlay, OH – The University of Findlay football team will get their second crack at national exposure this season as their rivalry game this Saturday against no. 24 Tiffin has been selected to be streamed as part of the 2018 NCAA Division II Football Showcase. The game will be streamed live on the NCAA Division II Twitter and Facebook pages as well as still being shown on the Great Midwest Digital Network. The game features two of the top four teams in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and will be played on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1:05 pm in Tiffin, Ohio. It is the second G-MAC football game selected as a part of the lineup this season, both of which have included Findlay, and is one of just 22 NCAA Division II games that will be streamed on either ESPN3 or Twitter/Facebook in 2018 as part of the DII Football Showcase. It will be the fourth game in two seasons for the Oilers that will be carried by an outside broadcasting syndicate.

Saturday's contest will be broadcast to the more than 90,000 people who gather their NCAA Division II information through the organization's social media platforms.

Earlier this season, Findlay hosted Ohio Dominican in their first Showcase of the year and lost by a score of 34-21. Last season, the Oilers traveled to Hillsdale College for their nationally broadcast game and dominated the Chargers to the tune of a 31-13 victory. Later in the year, Findlay's second-round playoff game against Assumption College was picked up by ESPN. The Oilers fell in that contest 45-26.
