Top 10 Individual Performances | #2 Christopher Jefferson

The Oilers had another incredible year as multiple student-athletes saw success at both the conference and national level. In order to further honor those accomplishments, Findlay's media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.

#2 | Christopher Jefferson | Football

Sophomore Christopher Jefferson was a unanimous NCAA Division II All-American selection, capturing first team honors from the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA), Associated Press (AP), and Don Hansen's Football Gazette. He also earned honorable mention All-American accolades from D2football.com.

Jefferson set a school record with nine interceptions, which was tied for the best total in NCAA Division II. He was voted the D2CCA Defensive Player of the Year and won Defensive Player of the Year honors from Don Hansen's Football Gazette in Super Region 1. He was also tabbed the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Defensive Player of the Year.

A first team all-region and all-conference selection, Jefferson accumulated 62 tackles, recovered two fumbles, and forced a fumble as well.
