Hyde Named GLIAC Player of the Week Again

Junior guard Nathan Hyde captured his second straight Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week award on Monday, February 22. The honor has now been bestowed on the Liberty Benton High School product three times this season.

Hyde led the Oilers to a pair of home wins last week by averaging 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

In Findlay's 69-61 win over Michigan Tech on Thursday, Hyde scored 19 points to go along with a career-high eight rebounds and then followed with 24 points in a 75-56 victory against Northern Michigan on Saturday.

In the win over the Wildcats, Hyde drained a career-high 7-of-10 three pointers and swatted away a career-high two shots.

On the season, Hyde is averaging 17.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.
