Men's Basketball Schedule Consists of 15 Games in Croy Gymnasium

The University of Findlay men's basketball team will look to defend their Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Championship during the 2012-13 season and the road to the goal begins on Oct. 27 with an exhibition game at the University of Dayton.

After playing the Flyers, the Oilers will travel to Utah to take on Brigham Young University in another exhibition game on Nov. 3 before opening regular season play at home against perennial power West Liberty State University.

The Oilers will host the Hilltoppers, who have made back-to-back appearances in the Elite Eight, on Nov. 14.  Last season, the Oilers came away with an 84-80 win in overtime against West Liberty State on the road.

On November 17, the Oilers will host Cedarville University before welcoming Notre Dame College to town on Nov. 26.  They will then close out the month on Nov. 29 at home against Lake Superior State University.

Northwood University will visit Croy Gymnasium on Dec. 1 before the Oilers take a trip to the Upper Peninsula to face Michigan Technological University and Northern  Michigan University on Dec. 6 and 8, respectively.

After their first road trip of the regular season, the Oilers will return home on Dec. 15 to face Ferris State University.  The Oilers will then host Grand Valley State University on Dec. 17 and the University of Northwestern Ohio on Dec. 29.

2013 will begin with a road trip as the Oilers will face Saginaw Valley State University on Jan. 3 and Wayne State University on Jan. 5.  They will then host Ohio Dominican University on Jan. 10 and Tiffin University on Jan. 12 before a three-game road tilt at Ashland University (1/17), Lake Erie College (1/19) and Walsh University (1/24).

The Oilers will return home on Jan. 26 to take on Malone University and then go back out on the road for three more games at Hillsdale College (2/2), Ohio Dominican University (2/7) and Tiffin University (2/9).

At the end of the regular season the Oilers will play four out of five games at home beginning with Ashland University on Feb. 14.  They will then host Lake Erie College on Feb. 16 and Walsh University on Feb. 21 before traveling to Malone University on Feb. 23.  The Oilers will close their regular season on Mar. 2 at home against Hillsdale College.
