4 Men's Basketball Players Honored for Academics

Four members of the Oilers men's basketball team earned 2013-14 Honors Court recognition by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on July 21. Mark Frilling, Jake Heagen, Luke Kohls and Sean Samsel all were honored by the association for the academic achievements during the season.

To receive the honor, a player must be a junior or senior and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

The association recognized a total of 895 student-athletes this year from 335 college/university programs.
